Ask For What You Want

It's easy to translate this advice into business. Do you want a raise? Ask for it. Do you want to make the sale? Ask for it. Not rocket science. But what about in relationships? Even more important, what about in your relationship to yourself? You cannot expect to get what you desire from yourself or anyone else until you become courageous enough to ask for it.

This may seem scary in relationships. To ask my husband for more affection is vulnerable. To ask a girlfriend for her to just listen as I process through something without giving me advice is hard. To ask my children to take out the trash....... no, that one is not hard.

I made a video with some examples of this in my life. What do you need to find the courage to ask for?
